Lively Scarless Brow Lift (Endoscopic Forehead Lift)

At Lively Plastic Surgery, our endoscopic forehead lift uses a Full HD endoscope to precisely identify and preserve important blood vessels and nerves, while weakening the muscles that pull the eyebrows downward. The forehead skin flap is lifted only to a tension-free degree and secured with Endotine. Endotine is gradually absorbed within about six months, providing a natural and long-lasting forehead lifting effect.

Both sagging eyelids (pseudoptosis) and true ptosis can cause the eyelids to cover much of the pupil, giving a tired appearance. These conditions can be corrected with double eyelid surgery or ptosis correction surgery.

Brow ptosis narrows the distance between the eyes and the eyebrows and also causes the eyelids to droop. This condition can only be corrected by lifting the position of the brows through a forehead lift. If double eyelid surgery or ptosis correction is performed while brow ptosis is present, the eye–brow distance becomes even narrower and the upper eyelid appears bulkier, resulting in a harsher or more stern appearance.

Brow Lift with Forehead Reduction

When the forehead is longer than one-third of the total facial length, it can make the face appear disproportionately long and even older than it really is. It may also restrict hairstyle options, as people often feel the need to wear bangs to cover a high forehead.

At Lively, our forehead reduction surgery isn’t about making the forehead as small as possible. Instead, we carefully analyze each patient’s overall facial proportions to create the most balanced and aesthetically ideal forehead length.

Lively Face/Neck Lift

If you want to achieve a more youthful appearance with definitive wrinkle improvement, the key lies in the extent of SMAS (Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System) dissection. Lifting only the skin, or even lifting the SMAS without adequately releasing the retaining ligaments, will lead to early sagging again if only partial elevation is performed.

If only the sagging skin is excised without releasing the retaining ligaments, the lifting effect is limited and short-lived. In addition, excessive skin removal can lead to complications such as wound separation at the incision site, prominent scarring, and deformities like a “pixie ear”.

By carefully preserving the facial nerves and releasing the retaining ligaments, we perform a wide SMAS dissection to achieve a comprehensive lift—improving sagging in the anterior cheeks, nasolabial folds, deep cheek fat, and the jawline.

With sufficient SMAS dissection, only a minimal amount of excess skin is excised—just enough to allow tension-free closure—helping minimize scarring and preserve the natural shape of the ears.

Surgical procedure - Face/Neck Lift

At Lively, this is how we perform facelift and neck lift procedures: we analyze each patient’s skin thickness, degree of sagging, and facial structure to determine the optimal lifting direction and extent. Every procedure is fully customized to the individual patient.

It is not easy for patients to understand the process of a facelift performed beneath the skin. It is difficult to tell whether only the skin was excised or if the retaining ligaments were properly released and the SMAS adequately treated.

At Lively, immediately after surgery, we show the excised SMAS and skin to the patient to provide clear confirmation that the procedure was performed properly.
